Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Psalm 107:19-20
Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.

Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.
Lord God,
Today I come to You to intercede for those who are sick. I ask You to lay Your hand upon them, bringing healing and comfort to their bodies and souls. I pray that You give them strength in moments of pain and uncertainty, so that they may feel Your presence near.
Father, I ask You to instill wisdom and compassion in the doctors and healthcare workers, so that they may provide the best possible care. May they be instruments of Your grace and healing.
Help those who feel lonely or discouraged in their illness. Surround them with Your love and let them feel Your presence. May they maintain hope and faith, trusting in You as their Healer.
I also ask You to help me do all I can to assist the sick people I know. Make me an instrument of Your comfort, and when possible, allow me to help them practically, knowing that this is Your command and will.
